Red Borg - Supreme Soviet Edition

Red Borg is a roleplaying game that casts you as revolutionaries fighting against the powers that be, letting you to play through historical revolutions such as the soviet one, or through fictional events set in the present, past or even the future, such as the conquest of Venus!

The system lends itself to playing both action-oriented campaigns, or ones full of subterfuge and investigations - the choice is entirely in the GM’s hands… or should we say, the Supreme Soviet’s hands.

Red Borg is based on Mork Borg, a now classic dark and apocalyptic RPG open source system, with Old-School rules aimed at simple and essential combat rules that let you embody Revolutionary figures such as the Soldier, the Stakhanovite, the Medic, the Anarchist and the Suffragette.

As well as the full Rules, the manual has everything you need to play:

• An in-depth description of the setting, covering city and country life, war, religion, secret organisations and multiple facets of the Revolution.
• An intuitive character creation system with a whole set of abilities and special actions, Equipment, tables to define backgrounds but also songs, mottos and much more besides.
• Fancy extras like Medals given by the Supreme Soviet and the True Revolutionary’s Inventory

Red Borg riprende il sistema libero di Mork Borg, un classico del GDR nero e apocalittico, per sviluppare un gioco in stile Old-School dalle regole semplici ed essenziali. Il sistema è basato su soli quattro punteggi di abilità: Presenza, Forza, Agilità e Costituzione, il cui bonus, o malus, influisce sul tiro di un dado a venti facce. Raggiungendo il punteggio della Classe di Difficoltà richiesta si ha successo nella propria azione. Anche un capitalista potrebbe capirlo!

Nel manuale sono presenti tutte le meccaniche di gioco più:

• Una descrizione dell'ambientazione e dei suoi luoghi, un elenco di voci sovversive, le molteplici sfaccettature della Rivoluzione e il suo Andamento.
• Un intuitivo sistema di creazione del personaggio che comprende numerose caratteristiche e azioni speciali, tabelle per la definizione delle Origini, ma anche Canti, Motti e molto altro.
• Extra Caratterizzanti come le Medaglie, assegnate, in maniera insindacabile, dal Soviet Supremo e che danno dei bonus unici.
